June started off with our show team at Brave Horse II.

Danika K and Beth Wilber were Champion in the Low Adult Hunter division winning all 5 classes of the division!! They were also 2nd in the Low Classic, 3rd in the Non Pro Derby, and Reserve Champion in the Low Adult Eq division! Danika K and Jessica Borton were also Champion in the USHJA 2’6″ division earlier in the week!

Smitten 57 and Alexandra Mehas were Champion in the Low Child Hunter division winning 4 of the 5 classes, and taking 2nd in the last class! They won the Low Classic with scores of 90 and 85!! They also won Champion in the Low Child Eq division with a 1st and 2nd O/F and 1st OTF! Smitten 57 and Jessica Borton were also Reserve Champion in the USHJA 2’6″ earlier in the week!

Stargazer and Valentine Mehas were Champion in the Short Stirrup division winning all 4 O/F classes, and 2nd U/S! They also finished 2nd in their first ever Brave Horse Exhibition Derby!

Valor and Madeline Kottman, who were Champion in the Low Child/Adult Jumper last week, moved up to a couple of classes of the High Child/Adult jumpers this week, and earned a 2nd and 3rd place!

Champions all around! Congratulations to all riders! None of this would be possible without the expert coaching Nicole Parrill gives all our riders.

We celebrated Evan Althouse high school graduation with a MacBook Air that will serve him well while he attends WVU in the fall.

Shout out to Mr P, Evan and Keith Copeland for clearing our paddock fence line of all the years of overgrowth. It was a long hard day but it looks beautiful.

Our show team wrapped up June back at Brave Horse for their III series.

Valentine Mehas and her pony, Stargazer, won Champion in both the Short Strirrup Hunter division, and Short Stirrup Equitation division! They also won the Brave Horse Outreach Hunter Derby!

Alexandra Mehas with Smitten 57, won Champion in the Low Children’s Equitation division!

Bailey Dye attended her first show ever, and scored great ribbons in the w/t pole division with My Brown-Eyed Girl!

Madeline Kottman and her pony, Valor, continued to earn points in the 1.10m jumper division for Pony Finals coming up in a couple of months!

Our barn family ended June with a Summer Send off Party to wish The Mehas Family farewell as they will be moving to Connecticut. We will miss all your faces and glad you are part of our HCF family forever.
