April kicked off with our HCF annual Easter Egg Hunt and brunch. Such a fun day for the kids and we got to hide the eggs outside this year, thank you mother nature!

We have a new pairing in the barn, congratulations to Yasmine Lacaillade on the lease of Byolga. This pair also made their show debut with HCF at the last winter WEC in Wilmington, Ohio. They brought home a 4^th place in the Intermediate Adult jumpers out of a huge field! Legolas and Jessica Borton took 3^rd in the 15000 USHJA 3’ Derby. Ella Ballard and NE-YO had top placings in the Adult Hunters. Beth Wilber and her mare Danika K set a goal to make it to the 3500 Non Pro 2’6” Derby and laid down a lovely trip bringing home a 5^th place! So fun to watch our riders set goals and reach them! Stargazer and Valentine Mehas were a top contenders in the Opportunity Short Stirrup Division. Their hard work has paid off this winter. Alexandra Mehas and Smitten 57 had lovely trips in the Low Childrens Hunter and have made great progress as a new pair. Thank you WEC Ohio for a lovely winter series. Our show team is gearing up for summer show season and we’re all excited to ride at Brave Horse under new ownership.
