Happy New Year!
We started off 2023 with celebrating a couple January birthdays. Happy Birthday to our assistant trainer Jessica, client Lexie and honorary handy man Keith! Our show team traveled down to the World Equestrian Center for Winter Classic #6. Alexandra Meshas’s mount Smitten 57 was Champion in the USHA 2’6” Hunter. Madeline Kottman and Valor moved up to the 1.00m Low Children’s Jumper and took first! Stargazer and his rider Valentine Mehas had a second in the Opportunity Short Stirrup. Raquel Mazur joined us for the weekend from Madison Hills Farm with her two mounts Flex Star and Grain D’Ry. They both had great rounds in the Grand Prix and was the biggest track both horses have ever jumped. Great effort by all!
The biggest news from 2022 was the WEC year end awards! Ella Ballard and Ne-YO where overall Champion in the Adult 18-35! Kim Tarapoll’s Legolas ridden by assistant Jessica Borton took Reserve Champion in the Performance Hunters 3’3”. Great way to end the show year and begin a new one! Our show team will be making it back down to WEC for Winter Classic weeks #7 & #8. Stay tuned to our social media for daily show updates.
