HCF IEA Middle School Team Brings Home the Blue!

Coach Kathie has an IEA – Interscholastic Equestrian Association update for us!

“Our hosting show at Stonegate Farm this Sunday definitely put everyone to the test, with our kids both working the show and participating – not an easy task! Thanks to all our Moms who pitched in with horse holding duties! Congratulations to all of our riders. We had wins from Abbie & Elsa and a 2nd over fences by Ella, as well as Natalie P succeeding in qualifying for Regionals. Elsa was also 3rd in her future walk/trot class. Addie was 6th and 4th in her flat and o/f respectively. Kendall and Isabella were both 5th in both their flat and o/f classes and Claudia earned 6th in her o/f.

The morning show team results included a Reserve Champion for the Middle School Team and 4th place for the High School Team. Abbie lead the way during the afternoon show with two wins and the Middle School Team ended up Reserve Champion again – and Abbie was High Point Middle School Rider!

This finishes up the season for most of our team members – with just a couple having one more show to go to try to qualify for Regionals. I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to the team. I truly enjoy working with this fine group of young riders and the support shown by all our parents. It is a pleasure working with all of you and I thank you.”
